Our Team
Charlie Noone, the founder of Skis4Kashmir, is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a bachelors in Sociology. Charlie is a certified Austrian Ski Instructor and wilderness first aid responder, with extensive experience traveling in the mountains of North America, Europe and Asia.
Dallas Erwin is the Assistant Director of Skis4Kashmir and a graduate of Colorado State University, with a bachelors degree in Environmental Communication. Dallas’ commitment to Kashmir extends to his plan to design and implement a sanitary medical waste disposal program for the hospitals and medical clinics of Kashmir.
Cisco Tharp , Cisco Tharp - is a graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he received his bachelors degree in English in 2007. Cisco, who has worked as a journalist for the High Country News in Paonia, Colorado, reporting on environmental issues and has worked extensively as a mountaineering guide for Outward Bound, will apply that experience and training to our program in Kashmir.
Max Hoener Began skiing when he was 6-years old, orgionally from New York he has lived in Colorado for the past 5-years, skiing and attending school for English Communications. In his younger years Max competed in cross country mountain bike racing, picking up 2- NY state and 1- North Atlantic championship title over the years. As a mountain-bike instructor and camp counselor, he discovered a passion for teaching his love of the outdoors to younger students. In addition to instructing he will be our liason between the many companies intrested in supporting our cause. His photography experience will also be an asset to the team.
Sarah Gorman An avid yogi and skier, Sarah graduated from Fort Lewis College this past Spring with a degree in Sociology. Sarah has travelled extensively in Latin America and Cuba. She is currently a childrens ski instructor at Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Sarah will be assisting in accounting and office duties this year and in the future will join our instructors in Kashmir.
This is our team. We share a deep passion for this project and are all working vigorously to make it a success. Currently we are in desperate need of monetary donations.
